Registration Fee

Anon-refundable registration fee of $50 per undergraduate or graduate course is required before non-degree enrollment. This fee is in addition to the course tuition fee. Instructions on paying the fee will be provided once registration is approved.

Registration fees are waived for IC alumni, IC retirees, Longview staff and residents, IC employees, and students receiving the IC tuition remission benefit. Registration fees do not apply to students enrolling at IC through anofficial Ithaca College exchange program such as the Ithaca College-Cornell University Exchange Program,the Ithaca College-Wells College Exchange Program or the Ithaca College Los Angeles Program.

Undergraduate Course per credit rate

Please click here to view the current undergraduate tuition rate for each semester.Nondegree undergraduate students are charged per credit tuition rates regardless of credit load.

Graduate Course Per Credit Rate

Graduate tuition per credit hour is variable by program.

Audit Course Fee

Extramural students can AUDIT fall and spring classes at 10% of theundergraduate cost per credit hourwith permission from the instructor.This applies to both graduate and undergraduate courses. Additionally, the $50 registration fee mentioned above also applies. Theauditoption is not available during the winter or summer sessions.

If your schedule or obligations change after registration, you may wish to drop or withdraw from a course. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the difference between dropping and withdrawing.It is your responsibility to drop your course by the drop deadline or you will be charged for your course. Drop your winter session course as you would your fall/spring courses.

Fall/Spring Students - To drop a course, complete the "Withdraw from Fall/Spring Course" form on the following website (the form is near the bottom of the list) - https://www.ithaca.edu/academics/registrar/forms/student-forms.

Summer/Winter Students - If you need to drop a summer or winter session course, use the "Withdraw from Summer/Winter Course" form found on the same website -https://www.ithaca.edu/academics/registrar/forms/student-forms.

Billing

After your course registration has been processed, a bill will be generated by the Office of Student Financial Services. When your bill is ready, you will receive an email indicating that it is available to view on HomerConnect. There will be a payment deadline listed on your bill.Financial aid is not available for nondegree students.

Nondegree students with financial balances who have not negotiated a payment plan with the Office of Student Financial Serviceswill have their registration reversed.
