Is Drexel hard academically? ›

Drexel's academic rigor is definitely tough, challenging, and fast.

Drexel has a high acceptance rate because it has a very low yield rate. Hence, just to make up the required class strengths, a high percentage of applicants have to be accepted. The acceptance rate has been hovering around 70%–80% for the past few years, and the yield rate has been around 8%-15% during the same time.

Therefore, the acceptance rate alone is not a good indicator that Temple University (TU) is a better school or will be more difficult for you specifically to get into. On the flipside, Drexel University is easier to get into based on acceptance rate alone.
