Escape From Tarkov is a hybrid FPS and online action RPG that delivers a wholly unique take on the hardcore military shooter, providing players with an exhilarating risk/reward cycle and an ever-changing in-game loot economy to keep the stakes high and raids fresh despite its difficulty. It's still in early access, but it's built up quite the reputation over its long closed alpha and now closed beta period. Its popularity among streamers, high viewership on Twitch, frequent updates, and regular video logs from developer Battlestate Games has nurtured a strong playerbase over the years, keeping fans engaged and occupied with new content. Escape From Tarkov preorder bonuses

Each of Escape From Tarkov's editions, including the Standard edition, grant instant access to the closed beta and its own set of bonus equipment to start you off. Additional Things To Know

According to Battlestate Games, Escape From Tarkov will not have microtransactions, but there may be paid DLC later on down the road. For now, all content updates remain free to all players regardless of which edition you buy.

All purchases are also region-locked, meaning if you buy Escape From Tarkov in North America, you will only be able to play the game in North America.

To play any edition you purchase, you'll need Battlestate Games' dedicated game client. According to the developers, Escape From Tarkov may come to Steam eventually, but there has been no word on release date just yet.
